BBA087 The M36 ‘Jackson’ Tank Destroyer

$299.00

The M36 ‘Jackson’ was the best American ‘tank destroyer’ of WW2. It combined the already well-proven and reliable chassis of the M4 Sherman and combined it with sloped armor and a massive new turret mounting a powerful 90mm main gun. First conceived in 1943, the ‘Jackson’ began arriving in Europe in October 1944 where it mostly replaced the older M10 Tank Destroyer. Postwar the M36 saw extensive combat in the Korean conflict as well as serving with the armies of France, Italy, Yugoslavia, South Korea and many others. Our K&C M36 ‘Jackson’ comes ‘snow-camouflaged’ and with a vehicle commander figure.
